New iPhone SE 2020

New iPhone SE 2020 After years of speculations, finally, Apple has announced the new iPhone SE on 15th April 2020. Although, it’s the second iteration of the much-loved SE line-up, Apple is simply calling it the iPhone SE. It pretty much looks and feels like the iPhone 8 released back in 2017, but the internals including the camera sensor has got a massive upgrade. Pre-order has already begun on 17th April, with the release date set for Friday, April 24, 2020.

Key Specifications

As expected, the iPhone SE is a compact, yet powerful phone that is great for handling. Below you can find all the key specifications of the new iPhone SE:

Display: Just like the iPhone 8, the iPhone SE has a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with 750x1334 resolutions.

Camera: The iPhone SE comes with a single camera setup at the back with a 12 MP sensor and f/1.8 (wide) aperture. It is the same main camera found in the iPhone 11 line-up and can record up to 4K videos at 60fps. The single front camera has a 7 MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture.

Water Resistance: The phone has an IP67 dust and water resistance, which effectively means that it can withstand submersion in water of up to 1m for 30 minutes.

Chipset: Another similarity to the top-notch iPhone 11 line-up is found in the chipset, thanks for its A13 (7 nm+) Hexa-core bionic chip with 4-core Apple GPU.

Colour: The iPhone SE is available in three different colours – White, Black, and Red. Whichever colour option you choose, however, the front of the phone would come sporting a black rail.

Battery: Powered by an 1821 mAh battery, the phone is supposed to last up to 3 hours of video playback.

Price: The basic 64GB model is priced at shockingly affordable £419, while the 128GB and the 256GB model would cost £469 and £569 respectively.
